Blue skies have returned after a deluge of rainfall from former Hurricane Helene assaulted the western Carolinas. Unfortunately, another round of rain arrives as we close out the weekend. The good news is that it will be nowhere near as much as we saw earlier this week. Mostly cloudy skies and isolated showers will roll through the WCCB Charlotte viewing area throughout our Sunday. While totals won’t amount to much, any additional rainfall in the mountains could quickly exacerbate flooding issues. Clearing arrives overnight as a ridge of high pressure pushes the moisture northeastward.
