CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A Charlotte firefighter was rushed to a local hospital after part of a burning home in Ballantyne collapsed and trapped the firefighter inside. The fire started just after 1:30am on Ledger Court in south Charlotte. Upon arrival, heavy fire was coming from the garage area of the home, according to a news release.
