Carolina Panthers Rookies Give Back After Loss to Denver

The Carolina Panthers rookies traded their cleats for costumes as they made a heartwarming visit to Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital on Tuesday. It’s a tradition that goes beyond football, bringing joy to young patients during a time of need.

Among the group was rookie wide receiver Xavier Legette, who stole the show dressed as Woody from Toy Story . His costume, complete with a cowboy hat, vest, and horse added to the festive atmosphere as the team made their rounds, delivering candy and small gifts to the children. Legette’s choice of costume was a hit, as he posed for pictures and interacted with the kids, giving them a day to remember.

The visit was part of the Panthers’ ongoing community outreach, showing their support beyond the field. Led by Nicole Tepper, the event aimed to lift spirits and spread positivity. Trevin Wallace and Jalen Coker were among sixteen rookies involved in the fun. It marked the first Halloween visit since the pandemic paused these cherished moments, making it all the more special.
