The Panthers are likely going to have to finish the NFL Germany game against the Giants down a running back.
Miles Sanders had to be carted off the field during the second quarter of the contest at Allianz Arena in Munich. The Carolina RB is doubtful to return to the game with what the team is calling a foot/ankle injury.
Sanders is in his second season with the Panthers. While he’s played behind Chuba Hubbard in the backfield, he entered Sunday’s Week 10 game with 36 carries for 134 yards and a touchdown.
At the time of his exit, the Penn State alum had two carries for five yards.

Miles Sanders injury update
On a first-and-10 with 11:44 left in the second quarter, Sanders took a handoff from QB Bryce Young. He carried it for one yard before he was tackled by Giants linebacker Micah McFadden.
When the pile cleared, however, Sanders remained on the ground in visible pain. Trainers came to his side and he soon was placed on a cart.
