Let’s start this series with the little town just outside of Charlotte, NC that has been shining bright since Christmas 1956.
Christmas Town USA, McAdenville, North Carolina
McAdenville, famously known as Christmas Town USA, is a small town in North Carolina that comes alive with holiday cheer every December. This quaint community has been a beacon of festive spirit since 1956, when it began its tradition of decorating the entire town with dazzling lights.
A Town Transformed
As the holiday season approaches, nearly every home and business in McAdenville adorns its exterior with colorful lights and festive decorations. The centerpiece of the town’s celebration is the stunning display of over 500,000 lights that illuminate the streets, trees, and buildings, creating a magical atmosphere that draws visitors from near and far. The celebration runs from Dec. 2-26th, 2024.
