Nana Morrison’s Soul Food , a family-owned and operated southern homestyle restaurant, will open two locations early next year .
The company has two locations in Charlotte and one in Port St. Lucie, Florida, and is now ready to double down on Carolina sites. Regional director of operations Jody Yetti tells What Now Charlotte that the company will start with opening a new location in Cary at 2052 Renaissance Park Place , replacing BurgerFi in the Arboretum Retail & Restaurant Center . After minor delays, the company’s fourth location is expected to open in the third week of January 2025 .
After this, Nana Morrison’s Soul Food will open a fifth location at RedStone in Indian Land at 9725 Redstone Drive , according to a press release from MPV Properties . Located at the intersection of Highway 521 and Highway 160, the new 2,353-square-foot store will be located in the newest building at Redstone, Outparcel E. It will feature an uncovered patio in addition to their home-cooked Southern-style food. Yetti tells What Now Charlotte that this location is expected to open in the beginning to mid-February 2025.
