In the spirit of the season, DaBaby brought holiday cheer to his hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina, with his fourth annual ‘Kirk Pole’ holiday event. Held at Garinger High School, the event was a celebration and a beacon of support for the local community.

Organized by DaBaby and his charitable foundation, DaBaby Cares, the event was a vibrant affair filled with festive activities and essential community services. Attendees had the unique opportunity to meet Santa Claus and interact with DaBaby during a special meet-and-greet session. Adding to the excitement, the North Carolina Panthers drumline delivered a dynamic live-band performance that energized the crowd.
But the ‘Kirk Pole’ event was more than just entertainment. In a meaningful partnership with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Charlotte, DaBaby aimed to shine a light on mental health issues. A resource activation table provided valuable information and support, helping to raise awareness and offer direct help to those in need. This initiative is part of a broader effort by DaBaby Cares to tackle mental health challenges, an issue close to the artist’s heart following the tragic loss of his brother, Glenn Johnson, to suicide.
