KANNAPOLIS ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — Investigators are searching for three suspects believed to be connected to a homicide in Kannapolis Tuesday morning.
Police were called to 303 Windy Rush Drive around 11:30 a.m. and found 26-year-old Angelo Markantonakis dead from gunshot wounds.
Officials say they are looking for three suspects and believe this incident was not random:
Suspect 1 is described as a dark-skinned Black male with brown eyes. They say he’s between 5 feet, 8 inches and 6 feet tall. The suspect was allegedly wearing a plain black hoodie, black knit gloves, and a camouflaged sheisty-style mask with green trim. Police say he is armed with a small handgun.
Suspect 2 is described as a tall, 6-foot Black male wearing all-black clothing. Suspect 3 is described as a light-skinned black male between 5 feet, 8 inches, and 6 feet with a heavy-set build. They say he was wearing a tan sheisty mask and a sweatshirt with no hood.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
