A motorcyclist has died following a crash in Dallas Wednesday afternoon, according to the police department.
It occurred just after 12:15 p.m. on East Trade Street.
According to police, the motorcycle was traveling west when it was hit by a vehicle that was turning into the Family Dollar parking lot.

Both the driver and passenger of the motorcycle were thrown from the vehicle and taken to Caromont Regional Medical Center.
However, the driver would later die, according to police.
