Former Cabarrus County teacher charged with indecent liberties with a student

A former Cabarrus County teacher has been charged with taking indecent liberties with a student.

According to court documents, Cameron Sanders took advantage of the student in October.

Sanders was working at Concord High School at the time of the incident.

The district said he started in 2021 and his tenure ended in November.

According to court documents, Sanders is facing three felony charges. He has since been released from jail.
