CHARLOTTE – The Charlotte Area Transit System unveiled its first cultural inclusion bus wrap Jan. 3 during a city event. Charlotte artist Javon Jeter created the artwork. “Javon’s artwork captures the diversity and cultural heritage of the community we serve,” CATS interim CEO Brent Cagle said. “At CATS, we are always striving to create more equitable experiences for both our employees and our riders, and this special bus wrap is reflective of our commitment to do so. This initiative also aligns with the broader strides we’ve made this year in strengthening our transit services, ensuring that our systems are accessible, inclusive and responsive to the needs of the entire community.”
