A North Carolina mother faces charges after admitting that her 4-year-old hadn’t eaten solid food in months. While the details of why the child wasn’t eating solids haven’t been released, the mom did eventually take the child for medical treatment. Of course, her delay in treating her child raised flags.
Authorities had to ask the mother why she failed to seek treatment earlier, which then led to her arrest. Now, she’s facing charges of neglect.

The mother failed to make sure her child was healthy.
According to an arrest warrant obtained by WSOC-TV , 28-year-old Sarah Weber told Charlotte area police officers that her child hadn’t eaten solid food in six months. Additionally, that same child had diarrhea for one month. The warrant also states that the mother failed to take her child to get medical treatment from a professional.
The owner of the home Weber was renting says the child in question is a 4-year-old girl.
