CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Drivers in the Charlotte region can expect major road improvements in the coming years after the Charlotte Regional Transportation Planning Organization approved $35 million in funding this week. The money will go toward 20 critical projects aimed at reducing congestion and improving safety.
