CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Homes in Charlotte are staying on the market longer than before, with the city ranking second among all U.S. metro areas for the largest increase in listing durations, according to a new RE/MAX report.
In February 2025, the average home in the greater Charlotte area took 57 days to sell, a 42.7% year-over-year increase. The report also noted a 5.1% drop in home sales compared to last year.
