A new Longhorn Steakhouse is under construction in Shelby at the former Fatz location on East Dixon Boulevard.
The Fatz building, which was constructed in 2000 at 1235 E. Dixon Blvd., was recently demolished , and crews are in the process of building a new restaurant with the framing nearly complete.
