SAMPSON COUNTY, N.C. — A fiery truck explosion has closed Interstate 40 in eastern North Carolina. I-40 is expected to be closed for hours after a massive tank truck fire Tuesday morning.
Video shared with WCNC Charlotte by Dionte Rogers, shows the massive before and after of the fire, which appears to have consumed multiple vehicles near the Sampson and Duplin county line.
