CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – York Memorial Park is a historically Black cemetery, where generations of Charlotte families have been laid to rest. But according to several families interviewed by WBTV, and a lawsuit they’ve filed against the cemetery, where their family members are resting is often a mystery.
“I’ve stopped going as frequently because I don’t know where I’m going,” Mario Black told WBTV about visiting his father’s grave.
