Bond hearing scheduled for man accused of killing NC woman in Columbia

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – A man accused of killing a North Carolina woman will appear before a judge next week in Columbia.

City officials confirmed to WIS that a bond hearing for 30-year-old Alexander Dickey is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. on May 13 at Columbia Municipal Court.

Dickey is accused of breaking into a home on Cypress Street on May 3 and killing 22-year-old Logan Federico. Federico, of Waxhaw, North Carolina, was in Columbia visiting friends.

Authorities said Dickey then went on an alleged crime spree before being arrested May 4 in Lexington County. He was later denied bond on charges there…
