Crash leads to 400 losing power in northeast Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Nearly 400 customers are without power along North Tryon Street after a vehicle damaged utility equipment.

According to Duke Energy, the outage originated around 1:50 p.m. near the University City Blvd. Blue Line station. The affected area stretches south beyond Tom Hunter Road.
