RUTHERFORD COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office gave an update on May 16 on a missing teenager, reporting that the teenager recently eluded law enforcement officers in Charlotte.
Katelyn Pruett, 15, was reported missing earlier this week by the sheriff’s office. According to a news release on May 16, the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office said that Pruett was reportedly at a residence in Charlotte.
“Throughout this week, the Criminal Investigations Division has worked diligently to locate the missing juvenile that was previously posted. During the investigation an address in Charlotte was developed as a possible location where Katelyn could be. On the evening of May 15, law enforcement went to the residence in an attempt to locate Katelyn. Katelyn was able to elude law enforcement during the incident,” the release said…
