HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A missing 4-year-old girl and her mother, who were the focus of an intense search by authorities and the community, have been safely located in Charlotte.
The Huntersville Police Department confirmed on Friday that Lila Willis and her biological mother, Jennifer Glackin, were found safe and are no longer considered missing.
“We’re thankful to report that Lila Willis and Jennifer Glackin have been safely located, in Charlotte,” the department said. “The Huntersville Police Department appreciates the community’s swift response, shares, and support. Your help made a difference.”
