Woman used stolen EBT card number at Walmart in Charlotte, police say

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Detectives from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department were still trying to identify a woman who allegedly used an EBT card she wasn’t authorized to use.

According to Charlotte police, the purchases happened Monday, May 12 at the Walmart store located on Pineville-Matthews Road in South Charlotte. A person, identified only as a woman, allegedly used a stolen EBT card number to make several unauthorized purchases.
