Mother Attacks School Officials During Meeting Over Daughter’s Bullying

A North Carolina mother, Mariah Hector, 33, was arrested on May 5 after an alleged outburst at Randolph Middle School in Charlotte. Hector was charged with assaulting a school employee and second-degree trespassing following a meeting about her daughter’s involvement in a fight.

According to police reports, Hector became aggressive during the meeting and was asked to leave the premises. Instead, she allegedly pushed past a staff member and shoved Principal Jennifer Schroeder into a wall. Hector then reportedly grabbed Assistant Superintendent Jennifer Dean by the neck, attempting to choke her. Dean sustained visible injuries but did not lose consciousness.

The school was placed on lockdown during the incident, and Hector was taken into custody. She was later released on a $5,000 bond…
