COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – A teenager is facing charges amid an investigation into break-ins in Columbia.
The Columbia Police Department said Friday that a 15-year-old from Charlotte, North Carolina, was arrested and faces the following charges in Columbia:
- Nine counts of auto breaking
- Nine counts of criminal conspiracy
- Eight counts of grand larceny/larceny
- Four counts of possession of a stolen handgun
“CPD investigators believe the teen could be responsible for 150 auto break-ins across multiple jurisdictions in a multi-state crime spree,” the department said in a statement Friday.
