Uptown Charlotte turned bright yellow the weekend of June 6-7, 2025, as fans flooded the streets in banana-themed gear. The barnstorming Savannah Bananas team brought their signature chaos to Bank of America Stadium as part of their 2025 Banana Ball World Tour, giving the Queen City and surrounding areas a chance to experience the madness in person.
Charlotte natives and Banana Ball showmen Eric Jones Jr. (Bananas first baseman) and Reece Hampton (Party Animals outfielder) shared a special homecoming filled with joy and spectacle. Both 2018 graduates—Jones from Davidson College and Hampton from UNC Charlotte—were energized to perform in front of a hometown crowd.
