Charlotte man charged after drugs, weapons seized from stolen vehicle: CMPD

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Drugs and multiple weapons were seized after Charlotte police looked into reports of drug activity in Uptown.

The investigation started in February when police were notified of suspected illegal drug activity in Uptown parking lots. During the investigation, police identified a suspect vehicle.

In March, officers attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle, but the driver fled recklessly, causing police to not engage for safety reasons…
