Pedestrian seriously hurt after being hit by vehicle in northwest Charlotte: Medic

CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A person has been hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle early Wednesday morning, according to the Mecklenburg EMS Agency (Medic).

The incident was first reported around 5:40 a.m. on June 25. Officials say a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the 2700 block of Somoma Valley Drive. This is near Mount Holly Road, just outside the Interstate 485 inner loop.

Medic says it took one person with serious injuries to Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center. Authorities have not said what led up to the incident or if anyone will face charges…
