Charlotte-Mecklenburg schools to move to new portal following PowerSchool data breach

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — All public schools in North Carolina are switching to a new portal after PowerSchool’s data breach in 2024.

Last December, PowerSchool came under fire after a nationwide data breach where personal information like social security numbers and contact information was compromised.
