CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Ahead of Fourth of July the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department issued a warning to participants of dangerous street takeovers.
Street takeovers involve car enthusiasts illegally blocking off intersections, where drivers do donuts and burnouts.
