RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – The N.C. Department of Transportation Transitional Work Pilot program is making strides in helping people who used to be incarcerated get a job.
Through the state reentry program, former inmates are able to secure jobs on transportation work crews and get identification cards to access housing and healthcare.
