Recent CMS grads start careers in Charlotte city departments

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Twenty-five recent graduates of Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools started their careers Wednesday with full-time roles in city departments.

Through the Education to Employment program, they’re now working in departments like aviation, transit and water services.

Recent grad Doneyvan Dukes explained the benefits of going through the program.
