Jewelry designer raises more than $100,000 for Texas flood victims

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — As Texas reels from catastrophic floods, a Charlotte jewelry designer and business owner is using her passion to support those impacted.

Erin McDermott White, who owns Erin McDermott Jewelry, has been designing and creating jewelry for the past 20 years. When she saw the devastation in Texas, she knew she wanted to give back.

“When the news broke about the floods in Texas, I had two girls at camp in North Carolina,” McDermott White said. “It really hit me hard, and I knew that we could definitely do something to make a change.”…
