Charlotte food vendors with permits concerned with rise in those operating illegally

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Mecklenburg County health leaders warn that since July 1, 2024, they have gotten 184 complaints about food vendors operating illegally.

Halal Food Truck has been dishing out the favorites in Uptown for years.

“Good food, quality,” said Wais Mayar, executive director for Halal Food Truck and Halal Street Food.
