Surveillance footage captures Charlotte car theft, separate attempted ATM break-in

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Detectives from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department were investigating a car theft and separate attempted ATM break-in that happened recently in Charlotte.

A car was stolen on May 5 from a parking garage for the Julien Apartments on in Charlotte, according to police. The apartments are located on Commonwealth Avenue near Plaza Midwood.
