CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Firefighters rescued two residents and a cat from a three-alarm fire early Tuesday morning at an east Charlotte apartment complex, according to the Charlotte Fire Department.
Around 2:35 a.m. on Tuesday, July 29, firefighters were called to a fire in the 6400 block of English Hills Drive. This is at an apartment complex off Albemarle Road and Regal Oaks Drive.
They arrived at 2:39 a.m. to see heavy fire visible from the second and third floors, and a second alarm was called, bringing additional crews to help.
