CMPD officer charged after allegedly threatening a woman, police say

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A CMPD officer has been arrested, and another person is wanted for allegedly threatening a family member with a weapon.

On Tuesday, July 29, shortly after 7 p.m., officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon with no injuries call for service. The 911 caller reported being threatened by a woman who stated that a family member pointed a firearm at her and made additional threats.

According to court documents, CMPD Officer Jazmin Featherstone, 26, told the victim that she was going to ‘f*** her up’ and reveal personal information about her because she’s a police officer…
