Man charged after drug seized during a traffic stop in Lincolnton, sheriffs say

LINCOLNTON, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office conducted a surveillance operation where they observed suspicious activity related to drug sales.

Officials did not say what area they were surveying, but said they conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle leaving the area. During the stop, a K9 alerted officers to the presence of drugs in the car.

Deputies searched the vehicle and seized the following narcotics:

  • 30 grams of crack cocaine
  • 203 grams of marijuana
  • 35 dosages of suboxone
  • 1 firearm
