CA woman sentenced to 17 years after trafficking crimes reach SC

GREENVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) – A California woman was sentenced to 17 years in prison after she pleaded guilty to conspiring drug charges that brought over 120 pounds of drugs to South Carolina.

A press release from the United States Attorney in the District of South Carolina said Dana Diane Shay, 37, of Fountain Valley, made two deliveries, including nearly 80 pounds of methamphetamine and 45 pounds of marijuana, in Charlotte between November and December of 2020.

One month later, Shay was arrested on federal drug trafficking charges and placed on bond in Greenville, according to the release…
