CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WKRC) – A man who was kicked out of a bar allegedly returned with a machete and brass knuckles to get revenge on the person who got him kicked out.
According to an arrest affidavit obtained by Law&Crime, 39-year-old Matthew King got into a “verbal altercation” with another person at The Public House, a bar, at around 2 a.m. on Aug. 9. King was reportedly kicked out of the bar after the confrontation “became physical.”
“Approximately 30 minutes later, King returned to the bar armed with pair of brass knuckles and large machete style blade approximately 18 inches in length,” the affidavit reportedly said. “King approached [the victim] from behind and stated ‘remember me?’ [King] attempted to strike [the victim] in the head with the brass knuckles, then swung the machete from overhead towards [the victim’s] head.”…
