MECKLENBURG COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A motorcycle accident early Thursday morning has left one man dead and temporarily closed a busy highway ramp.
The single-vehicle crash happened around 7:11 a.m. on August 21, on I-85 South near mile marker 48, close to the I-485 interchange in northeast Mecklenburg County.

NC State Highway Patrol confirmed with Queen City News that a white male was killed in the accident. No other vehicles were involved.
