Boil Water Advisory Issued for Parts of York County After Water Main Break

York County is under a boil water advisory following a major water main break in Fort Mill last night. The incident occurred near Highway 21 and Coltharp Road, prompting an immediate response from county work crews.

The break caused a significant loss of water pressure, and in order to make repairs, the line has been shut down. While crews worked overnight to isolate the leak, they are now actively digging to access and repair the damaged pipe. The exact cause of the break has not yet been determined, but officials expect repairs to be completed sometime today.
