Eight companies headquartered in North Carolina are among the top 300 in the country for tech workers.
That’s according to a new list from Forbes, which partnered with the market research firm Statista to survey more than 25,000 tech workers in the U.S. employed at companies with at least 1,000 people. These employees self-identified as having jobs focused on “tech” or “IT functions,” including software development, cybersecurity, cloud computing, data project management and technical support.
The workers were asked how likely they would be to recommend their current and previous employer and companies they know through peers, friends or family.
