CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A Missing Endangered Alert has been issued for a Charlotte man with a cognitive impairment.
Authorities are seeking 59-year-old Derrick Jay Proctor. He is described as a Black man who is 5 feet, 2 inches tall, weighing 165 pounds. He has black and gray hair with brown eyes.
Police say Proctor left his home in the 10100 block of Shaffer Valley Way in the Steele Creek area around 8 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 8. He left in a family member’s vehicle that was last seen on Bradford Drive 14 miles away in northwest Charlotte at 3:09 p.m. on Tuesday…
