CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A man accused of assaulting two people and threatening a third on the Charlotte Rail Trail this month is already out on bond, just one day after his arrest.
The incident happened around 10:40 a.m. on September 6 near Mainline Blvd, close to the light rail tracks in South End. CMPD said a group of people were walking along the trail when the suspect began following one of them, threatening to “beat him up” and “follow him home.”
The victim told CMPD officers he was followed for about 200 meters before the suspect, identified as Hayden James Davidson, came upon others nearby, according to court documents.
