Massage therapist charged after hidden camera found at Charlotte spa: Records

CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A massage therapist has been charged with felony secret peeping after he used a hidden cell phone to record a client without her knowledge at a Charlotte spa, according to Mecklenburg County court documents.

Court records state that the incident happened on Monday, September 22, at Silent Moments Spa on Park Road. The client told Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police that she had just finished her massage and returned to the room to get dressed when she noticed a flashing light. She discovered a phone placed near a backpack and realized it had been recording, police said.

The woman airdropped the videos from the phone to her own device and left the spa before contacting authorities, court records state.
