The long arm of the law has finally rested upon the shoulders of two men involved in the 2021 murder of Alan Johnson. According to a recent social media post by the Gastonia Police Department, justice has been served in a case that has lingered in the minds of the victim’s family and the community.
The Gastonia Police revealed that Lewis Detter has pled guilty to being an accessory after the fact in the killing that took Alan Johnson’s life on May 31, 2021, on E. Ozark Avenue. Detter has been handed a sentence of seven to ten years behind bars.
