Two men, two teens charged after allegedly shooting into an occupied dwelling in east Charlotte: CMPD

CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Two men and two 16-year-olds were charged after a shooting into an occupied dwelling, which later led to a crash after a hospital visit, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

Just before 5 p.m. on Monday, September 15, officers responded to reports of a shooting into an occupied dwelling in the 7400 block of Grier Road in east Charlotte.

While investigating, officers heard that a silver Nissan Altima, consistent with the description of the suspect vehicle, dropped a juvenile off at a local hospital with a gunshot wound.
