North Carolina man wanted for murder arrested by Port St. Lucie police

PORT ST. LUCIE – A 38-year-old man wanted on two counts of first-degree murder in Mecklenburg County, N.C., was arrested by Port St. Lucie police on Oct. 3.

According to police reports, officers were notified that the suspect was seen driving a black Nissan Altima in the area of Southeast Port St. Lucie Boulevard and Southeast Bayshore Boulevard at about 1:30 a.m.

Officers stopped the car at Southeast Port St. Lucie Boulevard and Southeast Seafury Lane and arrested Alvaro Luis Ozuna Sierra of Gastonia, N.C., the sole occupant of the car.

Ozuna Sierra, confirmed to be the suspect wanted on two counts of first-degree murder, was taken into custody without incident, according to police reports…
