MOUNT HOLLY, N.C. — One person has died after a crash on eastbound North Carolina Highway 27 in Gaston County early Monday morning, according to North Carolina Highway Patrol.
It happened shortly before 6 a.m. Monday on NC-27 near Meadow Lane in Mount Holly. As a result of the crash, one of the two lanes closed. The closure impacted traffic until around 9 a.m., but the lane has since reopened.
