Charlotte police’s crime data shows more juvenile homicide victims in 2025

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Alarming statistics on Wednesday night from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

Their data shows that so far this year, 11 juveniles have lost their lives to a homicide. That nearly matches the total from 2024, when there were 12.

Just last week, a 16-year-old was shot and killed in Midtown, and a 17-year-old is charged with murder in that case…
